My birthday treat organised by my wife as I entered my 70th year was for us and our son to dine at Mumbai Flavours. She had told them that it would be my birthday. We had a lovely such a lovely welcome and wishing me a happy birthday. The staff were so attentive! Above all, the food was truly delicious. I especially recommend the choices listed under Mumbai Dishes . The prices are also very reasonable. I cannot recommend them enough. Enjoy!

We live in Leicestershire and Leicester is known for its great Indian restaurants. Mumbai Flavours Alnwick is the best Indian food I have ever had

The onion bhajis were good. The main course I had however was truly shocking. Methi mint. Lamb cooked perfectly. The sauce could not taste mint and the amount of ghee used meant the plate was overflowing with the ghee, actually running off the side of the plate. Revolting. The sauce actually tasted of very little at all. Ate the lamb and binned the rest. This was a take away. Won’t use again.

First time trying here and will definitely be back, Hazel was amazing with the service, always smiling and welcoming. Thankyou so much for making me and my partner at ease .. see yous again soon

Friendly welcome, very good food, and excellent staff, who were attentive without being over doing it. I'm vegetarian, my partner is not. We were both delighted with the food and service. Couldn't grumble at the prices either. Highly recommended.
