When we searched for restaurants in Alnwick, this was the best rated Italian. I’m sorry to say it reflects badly on the others as the atmosphere was lacklustre, with nothing Italian about it. We booked a table at the very last minute during a short visit to alnwyk. Staff were very accommodating and we dined early evening on a Friday. The restaurant was very busy however the staff were attentive and very friendly. Mussels starter on the specials board was superb and a huge portion. Main sea bass from the specials board was really good and the accompanying roasted vegetables were excellent. Speedy service we will definitely return
