Kuk's Tavern - Northport

Stopped in for some beer and food. Sadly, the food selection was either heated frozen pizza or corn dogs. However, the staff, and a local, were very friendly and it was still worth the stop to see this historical place.

They seem like they need staff, but fun little place!

I give this place five stars for its rich history, simplicity, warm hospitality, and cold beer. I’m not expecting fancy cocktails like an old fashioned or margarita. However, after a long drive or a day by the river, this bar is just what you need. It has been around as long as the state itself, has survived a fire, and is still going strong. It's important to support these local businesses and others like them. They serve as a vital hub for this town and many small towns nearby.
