The cakes were DELICIOUS, the customer service was not so great. We would have appreciated a supportive representative. She was very neutral and if she asked questions, she would “that’s not in style.” Very discouraging if someone (the bride) wants to do something and gets a comment on an idea that she wants for her traditional wedding.

My husband and I are so happy that we went with the Baking Institute for our wedding cake! Our tasting was seamless and they were able to work with our inspiration and create the beautiful cake we received! We went with two layers of chocolate and two layers of vanilla that was a hit for all participants! Edit: photo of cake added!

Ordered our milestone cake for a reception. Picked the design and taste (mocha with marble cake for 2 layers; mixed cakes with fresh strawberries for the other layer) weeks before the time. I was very excited about the Mocha cake. We had the event yesterday and to my surprise, it was another design (all white) And it was a basic white cake with strawberry whipped cream. My guests thought the cake was just okay. The reason I wanted to mocha was because the tastes of my guests lean in coffee inspired flavors first. What happened to the original design and Mocha-flavored marble cake? Was that a mistake? Very disappointed. I won't recommend it. Edit: Reached out to the company and manager was very responsive. I appreciate the effort, but unfortunately it still happened and I'm still the cake we originally wanted. With a reception you get only one shot and it was missed.

Our wedding cake was nothing like the one we picked from them. Nothing. It was so embarrassing to cut the cake before our wedding guests when he did not match the color scheme or the design of our wedding. When we called the following day to talk about it, we were constantly told that someone would call us back. We didn't even want money back. We just wanted an apology. We talked to Omar and Marina who put our complaints aside. Marina said Igor would call us back the next day and he never did. When they try to follow why he didn't call, they always say he's not available. Honestly disappointed by the lack of communication that has been provided. The Baking Institute really disappointed us.

Wedding cake looked really beautiful, just as we have asked, but the taste was awful, none, not even one person liked it.Dry, clearly too sweet, and when we had tasting it was waaaay better then what we got.
