The Hart - Northampton

The staff at this pub do change regularly under the watchful eye of senior staff member Becky but they all come up to scratch quickly and offer good service. There are two new chefs on the block now who are getting to grips with their new pad (Russell and Hugh). Russell was on duty when we went. Hubby and I ordered fish and chips from the Seniors' menu being the right sized meal for our appetites. It was so lovely, crispy batter over succulent cod, lovely chips, mushy peas (for me) and tartare sauce and a wedge of lemon such a delight to have this treat on a weekday. Well done and keep up the good cooking Russell, we will be back again this week to test another of our favourites on you!

Sunday lunch with friends. Five of us visited yesterday, 3 had roast beef dinner, one had lamb shank and one fish and chips. All meals were superb and nicely cooked and presented. Jack and his team did well.

A lovely family meal , great service from Ashley , she’s a credit to your team .Efficient and friendly service. This local pub just keeps getting better , the new outside area is lovely .

Visited yesterday for Father’s Day and was extremely impressed! The food was incredible and the service was matched! Kelsey was very friendly and a massive help with my family’s needs. Will definitely be back!

We went for my mums 60th birthday the food was amazing! As was the friendless of the staff everything went so smoothly and they were only happy to help! Will definitely be going back
