フィードバックを提供するStopped in for lunch and was seated right away. Ordered the Lychee Martini that was very good. For sushi rolls I had the Bad Boy and American Tango rolls and oh my..... what delicious and creative flavor combinations and amazing tasting sauces. Loved mylunch experience. Service was quick. There's metered on street parking, a parking garage or a ticketed parking lot, all acrossthe street. The option for dining outdoors is available. Really enjoyed this spot!
When our hibachi chef arrived, he cooked the food in silence and didn’t offer any of the necessary sauces (which are a crucial part of the hibachi experience). Just as he was wrapping up, he finally attempted to engage with us by doing the sake bottle squirt, but by then, we were just sitting there confused about what had just happened. We had to ask a server for the sauce bowls, and only then did the chef come back to fill them—after everything had already been cooked and the experience was over. The other party at our table was equally shocked and disappointed. They had brought a family member for her first hibachi experience and couldn’t believe how poorly it went. This was especially frustrating since all the other tables around us were enjoying the typical hibachi atmosphere while we sat in awkward silence watching our chef cook. To make matters worse, another table celebrated a birthday with the full treatment, leaving my kids watching enviously. Additionally, the drinks were watered down and not enjoyable, and while the food was decent, it paled in comparison to what we could have gotten from takeout, which would have provided a better experience. I usually tip generously, at least 25%, because I’ve worked in the service industry for many years. However, this experience was so disappointing that I didn’t leave a tip, which is something I never do. Overall, it was a bad experience, and we won’t be coming back. When a family of five spends several hundred dollars on hibachi, the restaurant needs to ensure they provide the full experience that comes with it—it's about more than just the food on plates!
It's your typical hibachi restaurant. The food was tasty, but we felt hurried despite the place being empty.
I hadn't visited this restaurant in over a year, and I regret to say that it seems to have declined somewhat. The experience we had wasn’t as good as it used to be. They appear to be cutting corners, as the quality of the food has dropped compared to a year ago. For instance, we only managed to eat about a third of the rice because it was overly greasy. That's just one example of the issues we encountered. The staff also seemed quite tense and treated us as if we were in the way. I understand these are challenging times, but a little kindness towards customers would go a long way. I hope things improve because we really loved this place until now.
Food is amazing, service is subpar. I visited for dinner with my wife and the menu was changed since we were there last so I tried something new which was great! Regardless of what I order, I'm always happy. They could just use a more friendlyatmosphere. Prices are a bit expensive.
