Biscotti - North Strathfield

Although the service was not top notch, the food was wonderful. This was our second visit here and we enjoyed it very much. I did ask for my poached eggs to be served runny and they were the most well done of the lot, however still delicious. Presentation of food was outstanding and the fresh juices and amoothies were fabulous. Great coffee too.

Tuesday 21 FEBRUARY, 6pm-ish. Place is empty. I have already decided to eat here. Walk in and greeted by two males, one being trained it seems by the taller of the two. Asked to take a seat which I do. Maybe 2 people outside having coffee; I am the ONLY diner. Efficiently given the menu and I try and order a glass of wine, but the two males are street watching the passersby. I eventually get their attention and order a white wine. Roughly 10 minutes passes before a) the huge order of 1 glass of wine is given to the bar staff and 2) the order is stuffed up. A bottle is coming towards me. I call out, "I asked for a glass; I am dining alone- do you think I would order a bottle?". The bottle disappears and within 2 minutes a glass arrives. Okay- back on track. Nice wine. I order an entree, explaining it IS an entree of calamari which arrives in due course with nice fries............AND MY MAIN COURSE. The trainee looks at me then puts it down in the cleared space a companion would enjoy. I tell him I want to eat my entree FIRST, this being one of the qualities most often recognised the world over, even in the Mediterranean. It is taken away and I thought back into the kitchen. No. It is hidden behind a buffet on the kitchen servery under heat lamps. I approach Chef and say: "I hope this will not dry out under the heat lamps Chef". He says, "No, it is under heat lamps". I explain, "That is just what I said; I hope it does NOT dry out under the heat lamps or it comes right back Chef.". He says it will be okay. As I only eat once per day, I am very hungry so polish the entree off within about 7 minutes. It is, to quote Chef-okay. I then have to advise the two wait staff (remember them) I have finished my entree. They are up at the bar, somewhat too busy to serve me as they are both serving rather expensive WATER to an attractive young couple who have sat down. I waive to get attention and show I also want another $13 glass of wine. I get both wine and food. The chicken (stuffed with spinach?) is in a 1 1/4" thick white sauce with parsley- nice but somewhat tasteless and the skin forming on the top adds nothing to the flavour of the meal. With it are thick(er) chips...all generally tasteless. Finished eating, not asked anything about the food, 'everything' just added extra on my bill to use a debit card. total = $74:50. Value.............$13.27. BISCOTTI???...don't BOTHER!!

Came here alone for a quick lunch while running around. Ordered a small soy cap and the quinoa lunch salad. The cap came out quickly and was good. The salad came later and was also amazing! Quinoa, Spanish onions, tomatoes, fetta cheese and chicken breast. It wasn't like most salads- boring and dry. The flavors were very Mediterranean and it reminded me of Greece. The chicken had that smoked chargrilled flavor that I love and the avocado had be stirred through with what tasted like lemon juice, so the whole salad was moist and not just a bunch of dry leaves. It was also very filling without the guilt of a regular takeaway lunch. The area is quite cool too - hip industrial setting. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Breakfast is possibly my favourite meal of the day and today Bar Biscotti has exceeded my expectations and then some.Upon arrival the this cafe we noticed how full (always a good sign) the staff greeted us with enthusiasm a my friends and I sat down to what can only be described as possible one of the best breakfasts I've had in a whileThe quality of food was just outstanding The staff and their approachability again outstanding The coffee **** fantasticThe cafe it's self is inviting and warmIf you are looking for a fantastic meal please please try this place, you will not regret itThe only negative was the random music playing but that's itching to whine about considering the rest of the experience Happy eating guys and girls!!

Great local restaurant, we had breakfast on sunday. Very friendly staff, great selection of fresh juices, Good coffee and extensive menu.
