Refinery Lounge - North Pole

Interesting place. I’d definitely recommend it for a private party. The twenty four taps are crazy. They did have a Hefeweizen but only one. You gotta know how to read the crazy menu on the screen. Don’t ask the bartender. She’s busy. She did give me a good beer for a good price. This was a hoppin night. Marc Brown and the Blues Crew. The bar was full, but I’m not surprised for North Pole.

3 stars for food because we didn't eat. I do know foods provided by food trucks. Second comedy show we saw and getting top talent up here is really a blessing. The waitstaff were phenomenal, keeping the crowd well hydrated and happy. There are a couple pool tables and plenty of big screens for watching sports.

Last Sunday walked in at 9:10am. Not any live games where on any of televisions and no employee in sight. They have NFL Sunday Ticket but unfortunately cannot find a consistent bartender to put them on the TV's. I feel bad for the bartenders that try these shifts too because they do not even advertise they're open 9am on Sundays let alone advertise they have NFL Sunday ticket. Ive tried to come every sunday morning since the season started with a different outcome each time. Only place within a 20minute drive to offer Sunday morning football yet they just don't have it down yet. I won't be making the trip next weekend as its too inconsistent. Otherwise I would be here every Sunday as the layout is perfect for watching 6+ games at once. Unfortunate.

I still like the old Refinery. That had character, that had a great atmosphere. The Ale House is plane and generic. There's nothing about it that stands out. I still can't give it a good review. It needs more. It lacks character. Do better.

Excellent time. Enjoyed every minute. The bartenders are easy on the eyes and keep the beer flowing. Would definitely recommend. My new after work go to. Cheers. Mat Made Stout is amazing as always.
