Elf's Den - North Pole

Prime Rib was good, really good. Salad was simply green with cucumbers. Baked potatoes were made right. Kids Chicken Stripes appeared hand made and delicious. Garlic bread was good with real garlic on bread. Overall a good experience. The party next to us had a pizza that looked incredible.

I visited last week and returned again a week later, and we were both impressed! The food is excellent, and while prices are slightly higher, they're quite typical for Fairbanks/North Pole. The service was great on both occasions, with friendly and efficient waitstaff. The menu offers a good variety, and the calzone is enormous! The interior is simply decorated but feels bright, clean, and fresh. This could easily become a regular dinner spot for us!

Those who gave this place a one-star rating should really reconsider. This restaurant embodies the charm of rural Alaska. Although it's a bit old and outdated, the food is delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The rustic atmosphere on a snowy day adds to the experience. If you’re looking for something like Applebee’s, you should head to Anchorage instead. The Chicken Cordon Bleu is especially tasty!

This restaurant offers a great American hub vibe, complete with delicious food and excellent service! I highly recommend it. In the midst of a storm, we never anticipated we could enjoy such tasty meals in North Pole. I ordered a shrimp pasta, and it was fantastic. My friend chose a dish with halibut and loved it as well. Kenny, our server, was delightful and shared plenty of interesting stories.
