Ponderosa Steak House - North Madison

My family enjoys the food here. The restaurant is clean, the buffet is fully kept and has a lot of good options, food tastes good, our servers are always beautiful and offer good service. The only reason I'm rating 4 stars instead of 5, is because almost every time I ordered a steak it was overcooked. Management was always fast to fix the problem, but it is disappointing.

Food and service were good. I didn't get a refill on my drink, but my husband got a refill. I was pretty worried when a family of 3 didn't wear masks on the buffet and we sat nearby. I thought they had to wear a mask in and around food and other customers.

My husband and I ate here on our anniversary (17 Sept. 2020). The restaurant was VERY CLEAN... ALL the staff we met was very friendly and professional. Brad our server went beyond and beyond to take care of our needs... he was on everything. I ordered double Sirloun tips well done and they were AMAZING... Very good and TENDER!! All our foods were EXCELLENT!! EXCELLENT Service!

I brought my big niece, nephews and my father to the Madison restaurant and bought the salad bar for all of us. The selection of dishes on the bar was great. The food was fresh and hot. The service was fantastic. Also at Kovid 19, which went on, and the social distancing of the service was great. It really made you feel like you were something special where they are plates for you, and I saw them take the food on the table for older people I thought was fantastic. The servers were so polite that you never had to ask for anything they were always right about before your glass was empty. That was my great niece and nephews first experience with Ponderosa, they wanted to come back for another meal the next day. Go to Ponderosa!!

Food the service was great. The staff were polite, courteous our waitress checked up on us probably 2-3 times and was very friendly. Prices were very fairly priced for a steakhouse. They also have a buffet if you choose not to order off the menu. We ordered off the menu, but next time we will get the buffet as the food from there looks really good. The buffet has various foods from cooked cabbage to whatever you can think of. Even desserts. Your kids will love it so will too. VERY PLEASED WILL RETURN AGAIN
