And this is the end of good things. Now I come to the next person who puts everything together. This poor girl looked like she was hired less than half an hour before I got there because she looked so confused about everything. The customer before me had a number of things and that just made everything worse for them. While she tried to find out what to do someone had put one of my articles in the wrong place, and she went on to give it to the customer before me. Although I had tried to correct them a few times, and the customer tried to correct them before me, it took the cash register to finally return my food to make it ready. These stags in the spotlights of confused girls had nothing but attitude to me. She made it like I pulled her out to get some salad and some guacamole. For the cashier she wasn't much better, she seemed to have forgotten that she had fixed a mistake for me because she was standing there and stared at me. When she finally realized that sat there under the a/c food, she asked if it was mine. I said yes, these are mine who always sit cold. Now she has offered to heat them, not think about the blows on them that you simply cannot warm up. So unnecessary to say until I came home a few 10 minutes later our food was hardly warm. My dinner sat there under the a/c longer than it went home. It's really sad that we're going to this restaurant earlier, but after this last time I won't spend more money with them, the food is good, but not for the price. An extra 2 dollars is just ridiculous for a small sauce and salad. All because you switch from a burrito to an enchilada, it costs more money.
Cafe Rio charges so much for a meal. And gives you a side of rice and beans in the same container that they give you, your side of sauce. I asked the manager was this correct she said yes we changed are servings to one scoop. Like ma?am that?s a spoon full not a scoop. For the price and serving I rather go to chipotle for this foolishness.
I was a bit skeptical in stopping here to eat due to some of the bad reviews, but sometimes the best way to find out if a place is good is for you to try it yourself. I'm glad I stopped by! In my opinion it's an upgrade to Chipotle style food, at least for the burrito. I had it with steak and all the fixings they had available including queso style. Staff friendliness could be better but overall it's good.
Server was friendly, but they still don't have my favorite, salmon tacos, so instead I have chicken enchiladas, and my hubby pork enchilada, the soda fountain did no have Coca-Cola, I let the cashier about so he didn't fixed. , the pork vas ?salty, the beans under cooked.
We live in the area and decided to try for the first time on 8/18/21. Sadly we won't be back. The place was empty so I was surprised to see six employees. I figured how nice, it should be a pleasant dinner. We walked up and it took a while for someone to greet us, I asked for a tostada and they they said they didn't have hard shells. The containers for quite a few items were nearly empty. The prep area was a mess. No manager in sight, and employees didn't seem to care much. On top of everything 28$ for a salad and nachos, wasn't what I expected. Now I understand why it was empty.
