Moon Rise Cafe - North Haven

I'm always looking for a good place to write, and this café is literally the best in every respect: expansive, gluten-free options, paleo desserts, organic coffee and teas, and the broadest milk substitute options I've ever seen in a café. It also has all not so healthy options that are tasty, so it is really a place for everyone. The owner is friendly, warm and happy to recommend loose leaf teas to try or is ready to change the menu points to your taste. Locally owned and with many organic options, this place hits Starbucks once a hundred.

I love this place. The loose leaf tea selection is amazing. My daughter loves the frozen yogurt and her movies, and the bageries and cheese sandwiches are the best around. The staff is really incredible, so friendly and always so hard to work. This place alone deserves 5*! My two little Moonrise Homies always know our orders and are always so sweet.

This is the best coffee and sandwich shop in CT! Forget about the company's locations like Panera, Starbucks and DD. Moonrise knocks all the company's francs on the board and beats them with organic coffee and sandwiches.

So delicious! They have the best hot chai tea with almond and we love their aubergines and zucchini panini! Yum!

Such a wide variety of delicious tea and coffee. Pleasant atmosphere and staff. North Haven is lucky to have this little gem.
