Liuzzi Gourmet Food Market

This is a must-stop when traveling through North Haven if you're looking for the best Italian sub and mozzarella cheese to take home for friends. I made a stop on the way down and plan to return in a few days. I can't understand why there isn't a line out the door—it really deserves one! The Italian subs are amazing; they're packed with so much meat that it will leave your jaw sore. This is definitely the best Italian sub I've had in years!

As a native New Yorker of Italian descent, I was quite apprehensive when my Sicilian mother came to stay with us for a week several years back. Thankfully, Liuzzi came through and did not let us down. She was able to find all the cheeses, pasta, and other Italian essentials that she needed. My wife and I have been loyal customers ever since!

The cheese selection is impressive, and the house-made ricotta is outstanding. Everything appears appealing, including the fresh meat section. However, our pre-concert take-out dinner (pizza rustica, eggplant and pepper salad, beet and onion salad) was quite disappointing. We felt that while you can shop confidently here for ingredients, the options for prepared foods are lacking.

Extremely fresh and great selection! Definitely one of my favorite places to grab a sandwich.

Liuzzi is the best Italian shop around. We buy all our meats and cheeses from them. They make a wide variety of cheeses in their shop and have a large selection of international cheeses. Your charcuterie board will never be boring. The butcher shop isexcellent. They have high quality steaks and meats that they cut fresh to order.
