Beautiful revised interior, typical diner menu options, there is something for everyone! Eating was always good and waiting staff is very friendly... the hostess not so much or at least not on our recent visit. Great place to stop every day.

Hubby and I went to Athena II diner after worship today because we were hungry. Since I work not far from there, it was time to try it out. The only problem I found was that it was cold in there. Other than that, the food was great, the music being played was great (I found it funny that 10 teenagers were sitting directly under a speaker in the back of the diner and since they weren't listening to the music, they would have found it old and outdated anyway, lol). I will definitely want a return trip, and when I pass by on the bus to work, I will remember my meal fondly.

This is a fantastic spot to start your day with a cup of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream, or you can opt for the classic choice of eggs prepared any way you like. The service is quick, and the staff always greet you with a warm smile.

All the waitstaff were incredibly attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately, they close at 11:00 PM from Sunday to Thursday, and at midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Breakfast was excellent! They even offer gluten-free options. The French toast with banana was delightful! We were seated quickly, and the coffee and water were served right away. It's a fantastic spot!
