Apizza Grande - North Haven

I stopped by Apizza Grande for a much-needed meal during my travels, and it was a great choice. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating; they even made special garlic knots for us as an appetizer, even though they weren't on the menu. The pizza was amazing, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place!

I’ve developed a preference for New Haven-style pizza, so I admit I’m not a fan of brick oven pizza, but this place really knows how to make a great pie! The meatball was cooked to perfection—delicious and full of flavor—and the house-made mozzarella was plentiful, fresh, and not rubbery at all. The prices are very reasonable too. So far, this is the best pizza I’ve had in North Haven and Wallingford!

I'm a New Yorker, and I had a fantastic pizza today! I have to mention that they used what I consider the best cheese, Grande cheese. The staff was very friendly, seating us and bringing our pizza to the table, which made me feel right at home. I've just found a new favorite spot for dining in North Haven!

I understand people had a negative experience. The pizza cakes that are here now have pizza on the national and world stage, literally!! Come in and meet her. With the experience that the owner Rick has to be world class himself and a more than honest entrepreneur combined with the talent he has now, I challenge everyone who had a negative experience to come back and see or rather taste the difference. Let them also know who you are and the experience you had, and I promise you to leave more than satisfied. Put your pizza where your mouth is and come back to the family that helped launch it ALL! Come on! Thank you. Rick, great talent in there!

Just left the restaurant.. 11 hockey families with some real hungry players... EXCELLENT Pizza and WONDERFUL Staff!! We called ahead everything was ready when we arrived, needed more it came out fresh and tasty!! Thanks for having us!! We will be back next season for sure!!
