Smithy Pond - North East Derbyshire

We waited for an hour for our food, but when it finally arrived, the "creamy mash" was just warm and overcooked, the broccoli was cold, and the pie was lukewarm in the center. The waitress quickly checked if our meals were okay but left before we could respond. Overall, it was not a good experience.

I visited the restaurant yesterday for another delicious meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning soon.

Nipped in for lunch and was spot on. Food didn't take too long, was exactly how we ordered it and it was good quality. The prices are fair too.

Called for tea didn’t book a table but one was available. I am writing this review as this is my second time having a meal here, all the staff are very friendly, helpful very pleasant The meal was lovely excepted my blue light card discount which is a benefit we will be returning I will tell friends family about this eating place
