フィードバックを提供するLovely cafe off the main Devon link road. Great full English breakfast, served piping hot and big portions. Will definitely visit again when travelling in that direction
The elderly man working in the kitchen, who I assume is the manager, is terrible to the staff and rude to customers. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. However, the woman who served us was lovely. Unfortunately, we found hair in our food. None of the kitchen staff have their hair tied up, which probably explains the issue. We will not be returning to this establishment. It is a horrible place and the old man really needs to improve his customer service skills.
States on road sign on main road “HGV” but has no real facilities. Everything is shut by 3.30, 2pm in winter. Not even access to the toilets. Even the Disabled is double locked. Has so much potential, but unfortunately it lacks in so many fronts
I've been here 4 times in 6 weeks for an 8am breakfast on a weekday. 3 times it's been closed for no reason, despite an alleged 7.30 opening time. All the signs on the way in say Open, so do the times advertised online. No idea whether some days they just don't feel like turning up. The one time it was open the breakfast was fantastic, which is a real shame.
I ordered a cheese and mushroom omelette, chips, and a cup of tea at this restaurant. The total price was £12.75, which I found to be quite expensive for the average quality of the food. The breakdown of the prices for the individual items were as follows: omelette £7.35, mushrooms £1.30, cheese £1.30, chips £2.80. Surprisingly, they did not charge me for the tea, but it was served cold. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant as the omelette was cooked reluctantly after some persuasion from the cashier, who mentioned that they find omelettes to be troublesome to make. I would recommend going to Cartgate cafe on the A303 instead, where you can enjoy delicious food at reasonable prices in a similar setting.
