Sub Station Ii - North Charleston

Years ago we stopped to see what the whole hype was and were enthusiastic Angry Grandpa fans. Derrick was behind the counter and he's as cool as in the videos. He talked a little about sport with us and the food... From this world! No hype necessary because Sub Station II is the real deal!

Well I'm not sure if this is the same substation AGP went to but, I'm a big fan of AGP and Kidbehindacamera. I would like to visit the place one day...I'm from Michigan and 14hrs and 12 minutes away, but in the mean time I will let my fingers do the walking and just give substation 2 a special shout out from the Haynes family.

Me and my wife recently stopped there on our way home from savanna Georgia because angry grandpa from youtube used to stop there many times when we walked in the owners were amazing very kind and caring people the subs were amazing the only down side was the distance from where we live awesome food and great people

The subs are fantastic and the people are friendly and very helpful and cordial! The bread is so fresh and the ingredients are so delicious! This place has been a community staple since 1976 and I hope they are here for many years more! The food is great and very filling, reasonably priced, and they have a very cozy laid-back atmosphere. Definitely recommend this for any sandwich enthusiast, and for anyone that wants to try something new! My girlfriend loves it here, and I love it now too, will be going back for sure!

Delicious! First time visitor and I liked this sub better than all the other chain restaurant subs. The bread is Devine! Oil and vinegar with mayo mustard makes all the meats pop! Staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Couldn't be more perfect, and I'll be back.
