Recently we had a happy hour on a Wednesday and to our surprise it was actually Whiskey Wednesday. They had a wide assortment of drink specials. I ordered the Whiskey Sour which had orange marmalade (so delicious) and then I requested a Whiskey Smash (heaven). I also had the meatballs and polenta and the polenta had a hole corn pieces. It was a delicious comfort meal for a cold day. If you order the Brussels sprouts know they are tasty but the chili oil is also very much prevalent and so they are spicy.
The worst catering in the area. Do not ever use them. The food is terrible and expensive and they always run out. The service is awful and the catering managers are money hungry and nickel and dime on everything. Do yourself a favor and never go there.
First time for Sunday dinner. Servers on the roof top we're great. The biggest disappointment was how everyone was treated by the hostess. She was unfriendly and did not offered the elevator for the ladies over 70 . Thankfully the food and the service upstairs save the night.
Sadly this experience was very lackluster in customer service . I had a reservation for a birthday dinner at 8:15 and we were not asked what we would like to order almost an hour after arrival. We then asked two different servers, two different times for bread since we had already waited so long and it was never received. We then received our food almost 40 minutes after ordering. Our varying meals were good for others but some did not like their food. Personally, I asked about a particular dish if it was heavily tomato based to which I was told no but when it arrived, the food was in a pool of marinara sauce so that was a disappointment. After finishing our entree, we asked if we could get dessert to be able to sing happy birthday to the celebrant to which we were told the kitchen was already closed for the night so that would not be possible. We were highly disappointed with the overall slow and inconsiderate service. If the service was more prompt, I believe this could have been avoided. We then waited nearly an hour to receive our checks to pay for our meal. The restaurant closes at 10pm and we did not leave until 10:50pm. Overall, I was not impressed by the customer service of the in person staff. Contacting them via phone was also a challenge prior to my reservation as they simply never picked up the 3 times I tried calling them. Someone attempted to call me back the second time but as soon as I returned their call, there was no reply. This was definitely not the experience I hoped for and would not recommend others to come to Pinstripes Bethesda.
