El Chevere - North Bergen

The staff was incredibly polite and attentive; they made sure that I never had to wait for anything. As soon as I set my menu down, the waiter was right there to take my order. Before I even had a chance to signal for him, he was already on his way to my table. The service was truly impeccable. I visited for brunch and ordered the pancakes, which were generously topped with pecans, and the syrup and whipped cream were perfectly warm. For dessert, I tried the chilled nougat adorned with edible gold flakes. I had always wanted to check off eating edible gold from my bucket list, but in hindsight, I wish I had chosen something else.

The ceviche here is exceptional! Our server, Rafael, was very attentive and made us feel at ease. The portion sizes were just right to satisfy two hungry adults, and the prices were quite reasonable. We will definitely be returning!

The food is delicious, and they have fantastic lunch specials! The service is good as well. While it may not be extraordinary, it's consistently tasty!
