Cecil's Brewhouse & Kitchen - North Bay

We had a pretty good time here while visiting North Bay. We had tried to get into another restaurant but the wait was too long so we were pleased to see the size of Cecil's and had no trouble getting a table.I was looking for some pickerel and ordered some. It was pretty good. Ordered a flight of their beers as well. Again pretty good. Not overwhelming.It was a good atmosphere and the service was good.

Didn't order any food. Went to the bar to order for some bald headed bartender to tell me i need to move because people were sitting where I was standing. Quite the attitude or his head is too big of cockiness. Your wheat beer is garbage. It tastes like Lake Ontario water. Maybe you should lower your prices. Your competition sells their beer for at least two dollars cheaper. You lost on two drinks due to this guys attitude from my group. We would have stayed and tried more of your beers however another place was calling my name with better service.

My brother and I decided to try out this restaurant as it use to be a bar we use to go to back in the day lol. We were surprised that it was a microbrewery! We had not a clue . So if course I order a blueberry it only slightly tasted like blueberries which was nice! The food was amazing! I had the beef Bourguignon, huge portion, I could only eat half. Loved it. My brother had fajitas, and he said it was awesome. Lots of food. Great atmosphere and live music too! We will be going back for sure! We both live far from north bay and we're in town visiting.

Great atmosphere and the service was above average. its an interesting place to visit. they have huge beer vats that you can see and see how they make the beer. I had the prime rib and was a little disappointed but the service and atmosphere helped make up for it.

Our family had an excellent meal here. The atmosphere is good and we had a big spacious table. The service was great and the food was excellent. It was also extremely affordable. On a week and a half this was the meal that we got the most quality food for the best price. We definitely recommend.
