Southbound Smokehouse North Augusta, Srp Park

This was our first visit here. The food was good but not great. Our sever was more concerned with the $3 tip he received from another table. We weren't told to use the QR to order, but after our server never came to take our order... we decided to use it. Communication from. The host would be great!

Arrived in Augusta last night and ate around 8:30 at Southbound. First visit to the Augusta area. Had the nachos (as an appetizer for the table) and they were good but my meal (pork sandwich) came very quickly so I didn?t eat many. The sandwich was very tasty. My wife had the 10 wings and said they were small but very good. Our daughter had the ribs and enjoyed them. The ice tea was perfect but sadly around 9:00 the kitchen dumped it out so no refills. Overall? live music, on the River, good food and service (Amiya waited on us)? so I would go again!! Very close to our hotel (Crown Plaza) and next to the ball park. Nice area!!

Nice BBQ spot in N. Augusta near the minor league baseball stadium. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as rooftop seating. Wanted to try something different but played it safe and went for the ribs which are dry rubbed. The portion was plentiful, my pic is of the half rack, and quite delicious. They have a variety of side dishes and the 2 I chose were good. The hash and rice needed a little kick so I added some pepper sauce to it and that did the trick. If you are in the area and are feenin' for some BBQ, give this spot a try.

Me and 2ic...looked this place up and saw it had pretty good reviews. Since we took a ride to Augusta decided to go. The location was excellent. It was water side. And near a baseball park. The area and scenery was very nice. The restaurant itself was decent. It was more of a sports bar. When we arrived it took a little while to he seated. Not sure if understaffed or what..but when we were seated the waitress apologized for the long wait. We were offered out dopr or indoor seating. The outdoor seating was nice.. but the wind picked up so we moved in doors. The food was decent. The mac n cheese was good. The chicken i ordered was ok. But once I put the sauce on it ... it was pretty good. The portions were small.at least to me. I think because more of a sports bar and finger food type place. But if you like finger food and sports bar atmosphere.. this is probably the place for you.

Great BBQ place near SRP Park. Lots of room indoor and out. Good selection of local and regional beers. Choose from tacos, platters and sandwiches. I tried the pulled pork taco which had a great flavor but would have preferred a little more spice. The ribs (1/2 rack) was plenty filling with fall off the bone meat. The fries were crispy and tasty. The Cole slaw was excellent. This place is open even when there isn't game. Check it out.
