Northworks – Delivery, Takeout

I had the baked stuff haddock and it was delicious! The veggies that came as a side were so fresh. All three lunches that were ordered get 2 (6? thumbs. Sitting outside was an added bonus. Good job!

Tonight, we ordered the lobster-stuffed haddock and their specialty chicken pot pie. The lobster-stuffed haddock came with red peppers mixed in with the lobster breading, which was completely unexpected and completely overshadowed the flavor of the dish. What a disappointment. The chicken pot pie was even more underwhelming. It was served with mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. While the pie crust was pleasantly flaky, the filling consisted of chunks of chicken in a white gravy with shredded carrots mixed in. It tasted more like a chicken salad you'd find in a sandwich than a proper chicken pot pie. I considered giving just one star, but since everything else was satisfactory apart from the food, I’m giving two. NorthWorks... what happened to you?

I'm not quite understanding the hype around this place. We've tried it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner takeout, and the food was just mediocre. The service was also quite slow and not particularly friendly. For the prices they charge, I believe I could find a better meal elsewhere.

Without a doubt, this is my favorite spot for chicken soup! It's simply the best. My daughter enjoys it as well, especially when she's under the weather.

NorthWorks is an excellent spot for comfort food. They offer the best soups and salads in town!
