Ensure that all their tickets were in line, things were refilled and cleaned, etc. I ordered a large slam with a coffee and it was perfectly cooked. Despite hearing how many kitchen utensils are no longer in good condition or work, ladies in this business do their best with what they have. The next time you visit this location mindful that it is one of the only three companies that is open 24 hours on the island, so you can imagine how busy they can get at times. We appreciate that waffle house has very good prices and remains open 24 hours for any kind of community! Be super
I will begin by saying that the waitress (Mindy) was amazingly friendly, funny and very helpful with our orders! This is my wife's first time in the waffle and was told she had to wear the waffle hat? surprised that she did it and obviously she loved the food! So if you ask for Mindy, she'll take care of you!
My daughter and I went to the waffle house today at 8 p.m. (11/2). Three women work...a cooking (long blond braided hair). You wait for customers, cleaning tables, washbasins and people to check out. It is my belief that she was new, only through questions she asked about our order. She was very pleasant and thanked us for coming when we checked out. She was a bigger lady with light brown hair. The third woman, the African American, didn't give up the entire 45 minutes we were there, except rude to two phone customers and the lady waiting for us because she didn't get our order right. Sound and inconspicuous to other customers. When we were ready to leave our waitress waiting for another table and asked her to check us out. She rolled her eyes and never pulled up from the wall. We were so embarrassed for our waitress and the other customers. Needless to say we will never go back there
Ordered online and picked up right away. Order was ready both times. Texas Sausage, Egg Cheese with Covered Hash-browns A
My hometown doesn't have a Waffle House, so this was my first experience. First of all, this is a small restaurant, so it fills up quickly. Taxes are included in the already reasonable pricing, which you just don't see much.I had a pecan waffle, jalapeno hash browns, sausage, and coffee. Everything was good, about on a par with, say, a Denny's. I have no complaints about the food, but I've had better, so it didn't live up to the considerable hype. The star of the show here is the service. The wait staff is really with it, getting orders in and refilling coffee quickly. They are also very friendly.Curiosity: satisfied.
