Lemon Tree Mediterranean Restaurant

My wife and I have been going here for our date nights for a few years now. Our favorite dish is the Iskender Gyro.  We keep swearing that we will order one to split between the two of us (because of its size), but that never happens. We both end up ordering our own. They definitely have the most flavorful gyro I have tasted. Their hummus and pita is a great appetizer before this entree.  I recently ventured out to try another dish that I had high hopes for. I decided to try the gyro sandwich. Even though they have the best gyro meat I have had, the rest of the sandwich was sub-par. It was served with dry pita, iceberg lettuce, flavorless tomatoes, and very little sauce. This was quite a disappointment given the deliciousness of the Iskender. Regardless of sandwich, though, Lemon Tree is still one of our top picks for date nights.

I love this place! One of the few places where I can find the iskender dish, a favorite from Izmir in Turkey.
