The place was incredible, every inch filled with local delicacies from cheeses to sausages to cured meats. We ordered lunch; two panini with prosciutto di Norcia and two platters of cured meats. Simple yet delicious! Didn’t disappoint. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The outside area very cute. Definitely not a place for vegetarians though.
After the beautiful excursion to the plains of chestnut, all green, wooded in the wide slopes that surround it, up to the small chapel dedicated to the maria, with yellow and red spikes, almost to loss of eye, of obligation therefore the refreshment in this ancient norcineria located in the industrial area of norcia. outdoor snacks with cutter of meats and cheeses, carefully packaged, supported by an excellent turf. excellent pecorino Marzolino, sausages with wild boar, salami and lonza. normal because it dries the ham and the capocollo. fresh baked bread. We were 3 persons and we came here to eat something. A friendly waiter suggested us to take “tagliere grande” (for 2 persons, bit enough for 3). We followed his advice and it was really very tasty at a very convenient price. Highly recommended!
The cured meats and cheese make a great mail especially when washed down with wine. The variety of items is difficult to remember, but all of it tastes good
Returning from a trip we stopped here to buy typical products, very large local and friendly staff, the prices decidedly cheaper than those seen in the center, the products so far tasted are good, we hope they are all.
