My partner and I recently visited Mamma Africa and it truly lived up to its reputation. This family-owned restaurant goes above and beyond to ensure a top-notch dining experience for their customers. The delightful server who assisted us was knowledgeable and helped us navigate the extensive menu. We opted for the combo dish, which allowed us to sample a diverse range of Somali cuisine. We are already looking forward to our next visit to try more dishes from their menu.

This restaurant in Perth, located in Nollamara shopping centre, is a hidden gem with plenty of parking available. It is a family-run business with a friendly and attentive owner who is willing to explain and discuss food options. It is the perfect place to try something different, offering authentic East African HALAL food. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous, making it great value for money. The flavors are delicious and I would definitely return when I am in Perth. However, I did not appreciate being pressured to pay by cash, as I was instructed to go to the ATM to withdraw cash, but I managed to pay by card. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys exploring different food cultures.
