Syd's - Noblesville

I love Syd's. Cheap beer and the best fried pickles round. It is a classic bar with surprisingly good food. Avoid if you are a Nancy and cannot treat a light smoke odour.

Tenderloin Heaven. I try to stop in from time to time when passing through the Indy area. The tenderloin sandwich alone is worth the visit. Massive. The fried pickels are slices not wedges with a very salty but not unpleasant bite. Try the BLT salad, Ribs, or the oh so reasonably priced daily special. Oh, and about the smoke. You can avoid it by entering through the family entrance and sitting in the family dinning area.

Syd's is a regular stop for me. Great food and a friendly atmosphere. Be sure to check the board for specials. Complimentary popcorn. Love this place. Rhonda and Amy have great customer service skills.

If you enjoy upscale suburban dining, this may not be the place for you. It has a more laid-back, dive bar vibe that's perfect for locals. The food is excellent and it's one of my favorite spots. I particularly love the cold plate, chicken salad, cottage cheese, pasta salad, and the generous Chili Coney dog. They often have great value specials as well. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The photo features the Philly Chicken and Bacon Swiss Chicken. They've also added new padded benches and a charming antique bar with a shuffleboard.
