Who new that less than a month later, the metro (initially) then the whole island of Luzon eventually would be on a lockdown
2nd time here. Noticed that they have a big menu, the great thing is they have Senior Menu or the Lago Menu. The ambiance is very homey. They greet guests when you enter, when you order and when you leave. A buzzer is on your table when you need to call their staff's attention. Sashimi is served on a conveyor when you're seated in the middle area tables. The salmon sashimi is really is delicious and sweet. Tempura Sashimi is very crunchy but doesn't taste like oil. However the shrimp is a bit overcooked, but still tasted good. House tea is served for free to help with digestion. A good Japanese restaurant for couples, friends and family.
Musashi maru restaurant is located at the rooftop of glorietta also known as the japan town. The area looks spacious and their tables would usually cater to 4-6pax. Their no1 and no2 miso-based ramen tastes okay, the soup is a bit thick. Their salmon sashimi rice is okay, need to add sauce. And their tekka negitori tastes okay. Overall ambience is okay, but they may need to improve their exhaust. Their servers are all friendly and knows how to speak japanese (you may identify them on their name plate)
Love the small fried shrimp; sashimi is fresh; will definitely be back
First time eating here and it was almost closing time. Ordered the Salmon and Ikura Don with Tonjiru and a glass of Kaku Highball. Pretty good, really enjoyed it. Staff was also nice and very attentive. The place was nice and the tables are pretty spacious for groups. Will def be back soon!
