Creme - NIDDRIE

Creme Essendon is one of the most popular cafes on the Keilor Road Coffee Strip, where there are many cafes to choose from. I hadn't been to Creme in for a while, so I thought I'd drop by. It was late afternoon, just before the evening rush began. The young wait staff were very cheerful and helpful, and my favourite drink, a strong cafe latte, was deliciously creamy. The menu looks good, with interesting dishes at reasonable prices. Creme also has a full bar. Creme is a convenient place to meet friends, it's situated on the corner of Keilor Road and Bulla Road. If business is any guide, the Creme is very good; it's busy from early in the morning until late at night.

Called in not having any idea what we wanted. Lovely waitress took us to a table. Explained the menu. As we had just arrived to the city we had a few questions. She was happy to help us. Took the pizza and it was the first really nice pizza we have had in Australia. Reasonably priced

Look I'm here for a mate birthday, we booked the table 2 weeks in advance for a table of 13, get to the table only 12 seats... we asked for at least another seat, got a rude response and got a stool. Then we orders the food, it was amazing and my moscato was too good to be true, however the service over all was appalling, no smiles, very rude, would pretend they didn't hear us when we asked for another drink, over all I wouldn't recommend for a large group or if you don't like feeling awkward when ordering something...

I normally visit this cafe at least once while in the area on business. This visit was with my wife and we both enjoyed it. The coffee is always good. The food was great and when we mentioned we had a flight to Cath and not much time, our food was expedited without fuss. Will visit again... oh, and try the fritters!

This is a handy place to visit for more casual dining. Meals are served quickly and arrive steaming hot. Service is efficient. It's a great meeting place for a casual meal or coffee and cake.
