We ate here as part of our hotel stay as the meal was included in the package. What a disappointment. They call their cuisine “bistronomic” but the only difference is the price. I would like to say that the waitresses/barmaids are very nice and friendly, but let's say that the amateur service was not 4 stars. The meal was tasteless, almost inedible. I looked at the photos of customers and it seems to always be the same leek soup (the only edible dish of dinner) as well as the same frozen lime pie from Costco and the same frozen fries that are served. I don't know if the regular chef was away or if they just hired the guy from the local snack bar, but he seriously needs some training. Everything is either too salty or tasteless. Beef tartare, there’s no mayonnaise in it! Should tell him to Google the dishes on his menu to find out how to prepare them. The minimum would be to know the difference between mozzarella di buffala (menu) and mini-boconccini (reality). Asking $39 for a tiny flank steak that is way too salty, a mountain of frozen fries and St-Hubert sauce, not even ONE vegetable (except for the weird piece of grass present on all the dishes), is stealing. Serving bar red wine is cute at the local restaurant but not in a restaurant that calls itself a bistro. The atmosphere died, it was just us, 2 other people and a pretty tipsy group at 7 p.m. on a Thursday evening in an almost full hotel. But hey when you play Roxane Bruneau, the quality of the food is not up to the asking prices and your cocktail menu hasn't been revamped since 2001, I can understand why the locals don't eat there not. Lunch is ok but it arrived cold. The roties were actually slices of bread with baking powder and the coffee was meh.
Good food, bad and unprofessional waitresses, very slow. Rude reaction of both waitresses when just asked why so long... unpolite and a bit crazy. I visit the city often and i will not repeat. It is a pity to spoil a nice restaurant with so arrogant attitudes. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
We were there when the buffet opened for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. The filter coffee served was not good. However, there was a professional Nespresso available on the counter. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
