Sotto Sopra - Nice

Hidden in the antique art galleries called Village Segurane in the antique district of Nice is this cute little restaurant. Upstairs there is a sunny terrace, downstairs is a restaurant full of art. There is an interesting menu that is very well priced. The location and the restaurant are definitely worth seeking out. The cool thing is that the antique dealers eat there too so it has a very local feel.

We stopped for a quick lunch as our parking time was running out. We both had the delicious chicken salad with a light curry sauce and I had the apple tart with ice cream to follow. Everything was delicious and presented in a charming way by our waitress who's English was perfect as she had lived in London for 2 years and married to an Englishman! She told us the proprietor has fresh ingredients every day and changes the menu daily. A real find and the bill only came to €32 with tip.

Nice restaurant located in a shop of commercial antiques near the pleasant port, a very quiet place and the boss is very pleasant.
