Golden Restaurant Barriere - Nice

We went there for curiosity and it was not very appealing. Anyway not a big fan for Casinos and their champagne is average.

I apologise in advance for all the locals who are going to hate me for sharing this secret but his place is great! We saw a meal deal advertised online and thought we would check it out. The restaurant is right at the back of the casino with views of the casino floors for those who love to people watch. There are a few dining options and we decided on the 2-couse offer. For under 20 Euros each we had a main, dessert, glass of wine and coffee. The food was beautifully presented, cooked well and delicious. We both had the fish dish of the day and chose Crème Brule and apple tart for dessert. Both winners. Service was efficient and friendly and the people watching more than a match for the views on the Cours Saleya.

Warm welcome, the service is impeccable, the dishes are delicious and copied from end to end, the hotel master advises perfectly the choice of wines; fish are of an absolute freshness; an excellent evening in a very pleasant setting, we will soon return with great pleasure

A desire to spend a good evening and maybe earn a money if you're lucky, so you have to try your luck. The map is not bad either.

Would have liked a bigger that they had smaller stakes than 5€/5€ cash poker and the rake is with no cap. The place is ok nice though.
