Everyone is welcome at this restaurant, even non-members. It's best to arrive early or be prepared for a wait. The fish and chips here are truly delicious. Be prepared for a nostalgic experience, as everything feels like a step back in time. Please note that this restaurant only accepts cash.

The liver and onions and bacon on Tuesdays are fantastic. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Please remember to remove your hat as a sign of respect for the veterans. Just sign in at the bar and enjoy a fun evening.

For just $25.00, you can enjoy over 2 1/4 hours of entertainment at this restaurant. Most of the crowd was singing along with the performers, who are known for putting on great shows throughout the year. The prices for beer and liquor are very reasonable, and there is plenty of free parking available. I highly recommend coming to be a part of the audience for a fun night out that also supports the legion and their efforts to give back to the community.

We have been coming to NOTL every November for 26 years and have never been able to attend the Fish Fry. Knowing it happens every week makes us feel happy!

The Royal Canadian Legion on King Street NOTL, has a lot of activities , does a lot of work for charity , really puts out good effort for the community . At Ease, the building is welcoming, plenty of parking, the Thursday night Fish Fry is a must. It begins at 4.30pm till about 7 or 7.30pm. The Fish and Chips are just simply superb and at a reasonable price to boot. One can order from the charming volunteer Ladies at the table , and that can be a take out and or dining right there in the mess, the mess being the dining area. Bread and Butter, and Tartar Sauce and Vinegar and Ketchup are supplied . Generally a good crowd , lots of fellowship in the air, happy faces, a very uplifting place. Of course the walls are clad with photo's , stories, of the vets , the wars, the stories. The Legion also has bar b Q'S , on occasion and other events as well , there is always something going on at the Legion. It is an absolute hoot awaiting your number to be called out for the fish and chips. Again , I mention the friendliness of the Legion is simply overwhelming, and many locals do show up for the Fish Fry. KLB
