The food is really good I recommend the chicken burger in particular. When booking I clarified that they had vegan options during their Sunday set menu as we had a vegan with us vegan options are advertised on the poster I was assured they do. However, upon arrival no items on the menu were vegan and the only option we were given was a halloumi burger… which of course isn’t vegan. So I don’t think they know what vegan food is. The regular food is really good though.

My mum had just passed away so we were stressed, so decided to go out for lunch, my daughters wife and I, we arrived at 14:20 and placed our order, waited for 45 mins no food, my wife went to the bar and asked about our order (Catherine is a qualified chef) they said that it would be served soon, in about 3 mins it was served the server said that the supreme of chicken takes a long time to cook, this of course was challenged, our server was very arrogant, however the chicken was cold, the goujons were over cooked and hard, the nut roast was ok as was the soup and sandwich, however the attitude of the manager was horrific what a absolute unprofessional, you don’t argue with a customer she said that the reason our food was late that we were on our phones, , nothing to do with their unprofessional attitude, anyway we paid and left

Having spotted this on another website regarding dog friendly Northern Ireland where it states that there is a dog lover owner I called to confirm as I fancied visiting for a drink whilst out walking. Was informed by a staff member that there are only a few tables outside, unsheltered. Wouldn’t class this as much effort to accommodate dog owners so I didn’t visit as it is winter.

Lovely meal at lunctime. Staff where all very friendly. I didn't get our servers name she was lovely with black hair. Very attentive. Really big portions I had lasagna, chunky chips where just that crispy but fluffy, so good! Pannacota for afterwards was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Been to this bar many times mostly for quiz and always manage to have a great night. Last night me and my friend went for some food before quiz started, we both opted for the chowder and really that's why I'm leaving this review. After clearing our bowls we both agreed it's the best chowder we have both ever tasted, so if your paying this little place a visit I highly recommend you give the chowder a go.
