Jewel Of Himalaya - Newtown

We visited Nepal a few years ago and always look forward to trying Nepali cuisine here in the States! The restaurant was beautiful, with incredibly comfortable chairs and stunning Himalayan artwork adorning the walls. They offered a full bar and an extensive menu of classic Nepali dishes, all of which were delicious and authentically prepared—a huge plus, as many restaurants tend to modify their recipes to cater to American tastes. We enjoyed momos, samosas, chicken tikka masala, and vindaloo, and everything was fantastic! The service was quick and attentive as well.

This is my favorite spot in town and honestly one of the best curry restaurants I've ever visited. I go there for lunch every week and also order takeout, and I've never had a single complaint.

What a delightful experience! The Indian food at this Nepalese restaurant is absolutely delicious. Everything was so fantastic that we couldn't help but indulge. They offer plenty of vegetarian options, and the highlight was definitely the Himalayan naan. I will definitely visit again!

Pleasantly surprised by the interior of the restaurant: Clean, spacious, and a pleasant balance of modern and traditional decor. Service was prompt and friendly, thanks to Anna. The food was good.

Been there while i was in New Haven, we have had great food. Specially, the way momo is served is really unique over the whole US. Taste of foods is unique, even though menu is same as other Nepalese restaurants. But it?s bit expensive, that?s I thinkobvious. The fireplace outside of the restaurant is awesome. Mostly busy place in Newtown.
