It's a hit and miss place for myself. Hot beef was pretty good. My 5 other guest's really enjoyed chicken strips, and fish platters.

I ordered the half hot roast beef and would have preferred it to be served hot rather than warm. Additionally, I would like to see two soup options available each day. Overall, it's a nice place—busy and clean—with good service.

We stopped for lunch with a party of six on June 23, 2022, while traveling from Cedar Rapids to Des Moines. The food was tasty, the service was excellent, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant was clean and offered good value for the price. I highly recommend this family restaurant as a great option in the area.
