The restaurant offers a charming atmosphere and has a dedicated gluten-free menu, which is a nice touch. However, the service was quite slow. I ordered gluten-free scones, and while the rest of my table was served, I was left waiting. Eventually, they informed me that they were out of scones. I then ordered a sandwich, but by the time it arrived, everyone else at the table had already finished their meals. The filling was delicious, but unfortunately, the bread fell apart and was quite disappointing. Given my experience, I wouldn't choose to return.

The afternoon tea was absolutely wonderful. They provided a dedicated platter featuring scones served with clotted cream and jam, along with a selection of sandwiches and various desserts.

I made a reservation for the bistro bar online and was able to indicate my gluten intolerance. When we arrived, I didn’t even need to ask for the menu; it was presented to me right after we were seated, while my partner received the regular menu. The service was excellent and the food was delicious!
