Vineyards Trattoria Pizzeria

At first dinner and I don't see how they're always busy. The food was boiled and not good. I ordered a pizza that was still cold at the bottom and very greasy at the top. It wasn't boiled. I also ordered spaghetti, and by far the worst I ever tasted. Pasta over boiled, No spices and sauce very watered. Not good.

We liked and enjoyed our visit to the restaurant. The restaurant reminds me of a more upscale Olive Garden. The food was good. I was most impressed with the Garlic Knots those were very good. The staff and service was excellent, They were very friendly and attentive.

SOLID SPOT! Service was dope, food yummy in the tummy, wine was so fine and like the terminator we will be back!! THANK YOU! Waiter Wesley was on point!

I can't say enough about this restaurant. My husband and I were here for lunch. We weren't there in a few years, and it wasn't disappointed. The meal was tremendous, and the service was on point. While I only ordered a salad, I can say it was one of the best I had in a long time. I felt like in Italy. Bravo to the cook and the staff. We will definitely return, and with friends, so they can also enjoy.

Hubby and I decided to try a new Italian place and we are SO glad we did. Although we were seated immediately we did have to wait a little bit for our drinks. Our server, Catherine, more than made up for it with her friendly and attentive service/communication. She was obviously busy but she made sure to check in with us frequently and offered great suggestions. Absolutely everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. The complimentary salad and garlic knots were delicious! I had the chicken rustica (bourbon sauce with dried cherries, asparagus and mozzarella drenched over grilled chicken breast) and hubby had the steak marsala with mushrooms over mashed potatoes. Both entrees were spectacular and the portions were generous! We ended our evening with a very moist slice of chocolate cake and a refreshing lemon sorbet. This will be our new ?home? when dining Italian in Newport News. Can?t wait to visit there again.
