The new owners definitely have not disappointed all the long time customers when it comes to food, service, and great wine pairings. There is a small back room off to the left if you desire to have a small gathering with friends and family. I believe it holds about 15 to 20 people comfortably. Some of my favorite dishes there are polio el artillano and there's a dish that has the pork chops with them Marsala sauce. To date I have not had an appetizer here that I did not thoroughly enjoy. If you are ever on the peninsula or you are desiring for great dining with large portions this is the place to go to get the most for your money. They also offer great listings of wines if you desire to pair with your meal. This time I tried one of the many Merlot's they have available and I found one that was not too dry and a little sweet which I enjoyed.
My bf and i ordered the mozzarella fritta, fettuccine asiago, linguine con vongole, and a glass of sangria. the mozzarella's fritta was pretty much just mozzarella sticks so they tasted decent, both pasta dishes were so delicious, the glass of sangria was filled to the rim and tasted great too, and the salad which i think automatically comes with the meal was very delicious as well. the service wasn't the best but it was ok. we were waiting a bit for a waiter after we were seated and then when we finally had one, they weren't doing well with checking up on us and also when we wanted our check too. we would definitely visit again because we really enjoyed the food.
My family and I love going to this spot! The food always comes out hot and delicious. Service is spot on!
Wonderful food and service. The bruschetta was delicious and great value for its worth and the main courses were right up there with great Italian restaurants.
The food here was good as with our sever, too. The location is in a strip mall so plenty of parking. Took a while for us to be seated and the restaurant wasn't even busy at all. Once seated, we waited a little bit for our server to let us know she was with us. We decided on what we wanted while we waited. My friend noticed there was no shrimp scampi on the menu but she figured they would be able to get them to do it since they are an Italian restaurant. Once we ordered, it was about another 25 mins or so until we were served out entrees. I ended up getting a linguine and red sauce with chicken. It was good. We had leftovers that we took back to where we were staying. My friend had received a discount card we we attempted to to use but there was a discrepancy using it. We worked with the manager for about 15 minutes until we finally settled the bill (with a discount). Overall, the food was good but the service did not match the food and was a bit subpar.
