Red Lobster - Newport News

First time visiting and the food was great and the restaurant was spacious and clean. The manager came out to check on tables to see if they enjoyed or needed anything. Unfortunately she bypassed my table which was across from the other table, and didn't acknowledge or ask if we needed anything. I was not going to let that interrupt the great service we received from our waitress. With that being said, I could have been a secret shopper visiting her restaurant but I'm just a visitor that likes to do reviews on all the different places I stop at. Overall experience was great and I would have told her that if she would have stopped for a moment. My advice to her is , I spent just as much money as the other tables did, if not more, what made them more important then my table? I was there around 1:30pm on 5-1-22

This was a very nice dinner experience I had before going to the movies to see top gun Maverick. this location on the Jefferson Avenue is a Bittersweet one for me. it's one of the last places I actually have lunch with my mother before she passed, and it was one of our favorite places to go. I will say I do like the wait staff in there they're nice they're engaging and I like it when you don't purposely ask for something off the menu but our waitress we had knocked it out the park. she was able to get us what ended up being a group or to go type platter and we weren't aware of that that it was only for online only and we were able to have it while dining in. the biscuits are still great as they've always been on my previous visits before and all the food was freshly cooked, however their lobster mac and cheese is missing just a little something but for those who may have kids with them the lobster mac and cheese would be just fine. overall we had a great dining experience there during the evening they have it dimmed a little bit more than the lighting during the day and it was a great dinner night out for us. that's going to continue being one of my staple places growing from a mother daughter date as it used to be for me to my outings with my loved ones. so anyone looking for a good seafood restaurant place I would definitely recommend Red Lobster if you're willing to sit back and have a relaxing time of it. while there is one that's in Williamsburg not only the service the food does not taste the same, but this one as long as it's there and as long as they have good people in the kitchen and good people running the restaurant and putting the love into the food I'll continue to keep going there on the occasion as I do.

Tonight's meal was delicious! We had the Admiral's Feast and the Mariners Feast. As always the Cheddar Bay biscuits melted in our mouths. Our salads were fresh and crisp. Our seafood was prepared just right. We are immensely grateful for the attentive, warm and professional service provided by Mike T. He did an excellent job with his trainee, Randall. Thank you, gentlemen, for your time, and our compliments to the chef and kitchen staff.

Food, great, service, friendly! It's Red Lobster, you know what you're getting off top, pretty much!

What great staff, very caring and kind. I am from over 9 hrs away and I was treated like family. From the wonder woman answering the phone to the gentleman bring the food out to my car. The food was cooked perfect and the presentation of it being takeout was wonderful.
