フィードバックを提供するAs a Japanese I am often asked by people which Sushi is the best one in OC LA. We go to different places and we enjoy different experiences. But Sushi Ii is very special place for us and we love visiting there. Sushi II we come here for our very special day. My 50th birthday, our younger son 's 18th birthday, our older son 's graduation and so on. From the beginning to the end the service is spotless. Each dishes in Omakase are real delicacy prepared by skilled Japanese chef. The entire course is just like a sophisticated melody. Sushi ii has beautiful zen atmosphere thoughtfully designed with quality materials. I feel like I 'm in Japan. I also would highly recommend their take away Chirashi. Their Chikashi with top quality Sashimi is quite reasonable I think.
We dined there a while ago and it was the worst omakase I’ve had in the entire SoCal.The food was mediocre at best. The fish was no different than any other decent $10 apiece restaurant, the overall flavor was even blander. The service, however, was atrocious. My wife doesn’t eat wasabi and always asks the wasabi be put on the side. The sushi dishes as they come one by one, all had wasabi in them.I can’t imagine a chef not remembering a simple request from customer, even after we reminded him repeatedly. I’m just so baffled by the incommunicable chef to the point the whole experience made me slightly uncomfortable as if I somehow offended him. We’ve heard not so good things about this place but we were stuck in weekend traffic and hungry. Now we won’t come back for sure.
I don't understand how I haven't heard of this restaurant until recently and there isn't more of a buzz around it. Sushi ii is spectacular. From the moment we walked in, it is apparent that this restaurant offers a special experience. With a handful of tables and a sushi bar that accommodates about a dozen seats, it's an intimate and elegant dining space. Highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar and watching the skilled chefs bring together a beautiful meal. The procession of courses was like a symphony, different dishes like a delicate crab with pickled vegetables or soy marinated toro that melts in your mouth. Every element of every dish was clearly thought out including perfecting the temperature of rice, the beautifully saltiness of miso soup, and the most intense pear flavor in the pear sorbet.Like a symphony, everyone that worked their played a roll in the wonderful experience we had. Everyone was so attentive and checking to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Can't wait to experience this place again. It was perfection.
It was one of the best of Sushi places in Town. We had the wonderful time and the foods were delicious and well crafted by the Fun loving and experience Chef.Parking: Plenty of spaces
Everything is fresh, and the service is nice and friendly. The ambiance is very relaxing. Although the prices are on the higher side, the experience is worth it. I will definitely return!
