Summerland Ice Cream - Newport Beach

The ice cream was decent, but it could use a bit more flavor. I would recommend trying the thicker varieties, like chocolate or coffee. I had the cookie dough flavor, while my husband opted for the coffee. Both of those were definitely tastier than some of the other samples we tried.

I was walking along the boardwalk and noticed that all the ice cream shops were quite dirty. After doing a quick Google search, I discovered this ice cream parlor, which was really clean. The ice cream was fantastic, and the shop was spotless!

It's possible we visited on an off day, but the ice cream lacked flavor. It reminded us more of frozen milk than anything else. We tried both the strawberry and the French coffee flavors, and neither was pleasant.

Great selection of pastry and ice cream! Place was cute and very clean, and the service was friendly.

Ice cream and patisserie are delicious… When they are opened!!! Never opened on time and I always have to wait 20-30 minutes at the door waiting for the door to open….
