Poke Oc - Newport Beach

My first impression was that I was very welcome, the greeting when I went in the door was wonderful. The salad is great, always a good sign for me. The bowl I got was delicious and all the flavors coalesced beautiful. There was no bite I don't love.

Consistency, Very Fresh, Friendly, Fast, Sanitary, Perfect Portion, Great Prices, Very Worthy. I am super picky about where I eat my fish. You have to be. Double Thumbs up for Poke OC! 7 is the number of completeness. Just finished my 7th visit and they exceeded the expectations of a super picky fish person every time I visited. I never thought a place that sold sushi could earn a 5 Star review from me, but they did it and proved me wrong. The food is so fresh that I can’t risk going anywhere else now. I’ve been to many others and Poke OC’s freshness is unbeatable. With sushi, many don’t realize the huge difference between super fresh and just fresh. They do at Poke OC, and you will too when you go there and try them out. Then you can say that you had super fresh sushi, you learned this difference and it’s not commonly found at most other places.

It was pretty good. Got all salmon, which was fresh. Okay number of toppings, but very limited on sauces. If in the area I would eat there again, but not something I would go out of my way for.

Best Poke spot around. They don't have it as a visible choice but I skip most of the sauces and instead just go with sesame oil, Ponzi, and ask for chili oil that they'll bring out from the back. The complimentary crab and seaweed salad is a nice bonus
