The service was excellent; our water glasses were never empty. I ordered the Newport Breeze cocktail, which included strawberry, cucumber, and mint, while Grace opted for ginger ale. Our drinks arrived promptly, accompanied by warm bread and butter. I decided to try the Saturday evening special, which featured roasted suckling pig with macaroni and cheese. No, they don’t serve an entire pig—it’s fully roasted and then pulled apart. What you get is a generous portion of juicy meat paired with crispy skin. It was delicious! Pork can easily turn dry, but this was exceptionally moist, and the skin was perfectly crispy. The mac and cheese was delightful as well, made with orzo pasta and tender asparagus; it was a wonderful combination of cheese, pasta, and vegetables. I absolutely loved it. Grace chose the chicken tamale pancakes, which turned out to be a hit as well. The tamale pancake, made from masa, was flavorful, and the chicken was incredibly tender. The dish was fantastic. We thought about dessert but ultimately decided to skip it this time. I’ll definitely make sure to try some dessert on my next visit. Bravo, Chef Ledbetter!
My friend and I visited Lark Creek for the first time about a month ago, and we were blown away by the fantastic food and drinks. Our server, Tatiana, was exceptional, and we also enjoyed chatting with the bartender, Missy, later on. Both of them were very professional and had great knowledge about the menu items. I will definitely be returning! Thank you!
The grass-fed steak I ordered was absolutely delicious and tender. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was attentive. I will definitely be back soon!
