Haute Cakes Caffe - Newport Beach

I absolutely love Haute Cakes, my favorite breakfast spot in Orange County. The owner, Paul, is a fantastic guy and incredibly generous. I highly recommend it—10/10—if you're looking for a great place to have breakfast with friends. The food is amazing!

A fantastic hidden gem for breakfast and lunch! This restaurant offers a counter-style self-ordering system, with the option to sit indoors or outdoors surrounded by greenery. The staff is very accommodating. If you have vegetarian preferences, don’t hesitate to ask for specific options. They are also attentive to dietary restrictions—just let them know, and they will prepare a suitable dish for you. Parking is easy, with plenty of free spaces available. This place is very family-friendly, equipped with numerous high chairs and tables. Additionally, it is fully accessible for wheelchairs, meeting all ADA requirements.

There were a lot of kids present. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

Update: I spoke with the jerk owner, and he has no comments on pickup and no intentions of making any changes.Nine years ago, around 2015, when I ordered ahead for pickup and arrived at Haute Cakes, there was a huge line of about 30 people. I attempted to ask the cashier what to do about pickups and she wouldn't look at me or even acknowledge my presence. I ended up leaving without the food.Just go elsewhere. There are so many better restaurants in Newport Beach that are not run but aholes.

Great food. Limited seating and parking is a big challenge. Dietary restrictions: Offer gluten-free options. Parking: Parking is a huge challenge here. Worst part of the whole experience. Wheelchair accessibility: This would not be a good place for wheelchair access. Tables are crowded together and uneven ground.
