Envy Lounge - Newport Beach

I made a reservation through OpenTable, but the lounge called me to say that reservations made on OpenTable are not honored. They mentioned they have a vague relationship with OpenTable. To make matters worse, they told me I would have to pay $500 to secure the same table I had already reserved. This is a terrible business practice, and I am very disappointed.

I booked the table specifically, I said I didn't want a bottle service. I was sure they wouldn't save us table in the Vip lounge so we don't have to make bottle service. when we get there, they forced my friends to get a bottle of gray geese for $360! I mean, the thing I hate is that they're fabulous about it. never come again!

Had a good time, nice bar area. I used a table to reserve a table, but they don't use a table anymore. good music, mixed quantity

We have a reservation online for two on a Saturday night at 9 o'clock. when we showed up. they advised us, there was no reservation for a table of 2 under my last name. I have shown them the online confirmation that I have in the did a reservation, they then said they do not offer a table for a party of two, the bouncer was very rude. but we decided to stay anyway and sit at the bar, but it was very raunchy and smells weird inside. they were not dj and not music. we decided not to stay and go immediately. I'm not asking to honor this place. homage customer service!

We made a reservation for a table at 5:30 PM on a Friday, but when we arrived, the restaurant was closed. We checked their hours online and even called, only to hear on their voicemail that they open at 5 PM. We ended up going next door, where we learned that Envy often has inconsistent hours, so we decided to have dinner there instead. Later, around 7 PM, we checked back and found the restaurant finally open, so we ordered drinks and were seated since the place was nearly empty. While I would have rated this restaurant much higher due to the excellent venue and drinks, the fact that they weren’t open for our reservation is a significant drawback.
