Tastebudz - Newport

My husband and I just returned from a delightful dinner at Tastebudz! He enjoyed the club sandwich with homemade French fries, while I had the mushroom Swiss burger along with the same delicious fries and some roasted okra. Everything was fantastic! The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. Our waitress, Julie, was exceptionally attentive and made sure everything was to our liking. We can't wait to return! Thank you all for providing such wonderful food and a lovely atmosphere with an amazing team. Special thanks to you, Julie, for being so great!

My family and I dined here for the first time last Friday, and as someone who has spent 15 years in the restaurant and service industry, I have high expectations. This place exceeded them! If you’re searching for a cozy, inviting atmosphere that feels like home with some fantastic Southern cuisine, you’ll love it here. The prices are very reasonable as well—10 entrees, 3 appetizers, 10 beverages, and a variety of sides for just $120! The service was excellent too. Even though it's a 40-minute drive for me, it’s absolutely worth it. I highly recommend giving it a try!

The roasted chicken was absolutely delicious! I paired it with homemade potatoes, tasty corn, and a buttery cookie. Everything I tried was flavorful, and the food was ready in no time. The staff was also very friendly.

I finally had to sit down and try the country with Lisa's fabulous homemade severity. It didn't disappoint! And these green beans And you don't find scratch-baked potatoes only somewhere these days! I can't wait until the next meat loaf special day. Lisa knows what she's doing back there!
