O'bryon's Grill - Newport

Great laid back bar and grill. A ton of house made options give the food menu a boost from cookie cutter bar fare. Good drink selection and a great place for watching a game. Their bar staff, especially, is quick and friendly.

Great food. Buffalo fried chicken sandwich is one of the best I?ve had. However, I just wish there was some type of parking lot for people eating at the restaurant? the residents who live on Washington and/or 8th have to park block(s) away from their homeswith small children to carry among other things in all types of weather. The food and scene is great which is why it?sunderstandable there?s business at all times of the day but it?s really unfortunate for the neighbors. Still a great place toeat though. Fish and chips: winner also.

I had the Obryons burger and cheese sticks, and both were fantastic. It was also Mule Night with special drink offers, and the KY Mule certainly lived up to expectations.

Chris, the bartender, was fantastic! We were visiting from out of town to watch the OSU game—Go BUCKEYES!!! We spent quite a while there, and she took excellent care of us. The entire staff was very friendly. The wings and tater tots were amazing as well! Plus, the bathrooms were really clean!

This was our third visit to O'Bryan's, and each time, we've been blown away by the exceptional service and excellent food. Be sure to try the mozzarella sticks, as they're made from scratch in-house and are absolutely delicious. The fried chicken sandwich is fantastic—think of it as a Chick-fil-A sandwich, but even better. I highly recommend it. The salads are also impressive, featuring fresh, crisp greens and tasty dressings. For sides, I suggest the sweet potato fries or onion rings. Just a heads up: the portions here are very generous, so you might want to consider sharing entrees or come ready to take leftovers home.
