22 Bowen's Wine Grille - Newport

I started with a nice martini from the full service bar. Wine list is extensive. Brisk and friendly service. The crab cakes are delicate and seasoned just enough to taste the crab. The rare tuna steak is served sushi style with wasabi and soy sauce. Outstanding fresh flavor. The tuna practically melts in your mouth. My date enjoyed her clam chowder and fish special (fluke stuffed with crab meat).

We got there early and were told to come back at 5 to be seated and came back when we saw other people being seated before 5. But after that weird initial incident, things got better! Our waiter, Manny, was amazing and made the perfect recommendations for my whole family. We had Calamari to start with and it was delicious and had an Asian fusion twist to it which was amazing, then my husband and I had the 40oz special so the steak was split into 2 and ordered 2 sides, mashed potatoes and lobster Mac cheese. Definitely coming back bc Manny and the food were all around amazing!

Food and service was excellent . I ordered the strip steak med rare and was cooked to perfection . I ate the whole piece ! Also ordered the wedge salad..one of top 3'i have had ever . Will definitely go back there to eat again!

Incredible as always top notch food and service. We had such awful food all weekend in Newport bad luck with other restaurant's. So happy to end on a good note at 22 Bowen's. Fantastic meal and service. Thank you

It is in the top spot to be in Newport right on Bowen's wharf! The food is always good and Love, love, love Portside the outside bar! Its a must go place to eat. Lunch prices and choices are more reasonable.
